Chubby never had the chance to show his true potential. After threes years of investigation, in 2017, not too long after running the best time of the weekend at NBHA Canada Day show, we finally were able to determine that all along he was coping with a career ending injury that he would have sustained even before his first race. He’s a super tough and fearless horse who I feel would have excelled at rodeos.
